Today, we were invited to the birthday party of our friend's beautiful daughter. What I appreciated most was my friend made kisir although she was not Turkish. So, I decided to write a recipe and share it with her. Why not with you? It's totally vegan..
Kisir (Turkish Style Bulgur Salad)
1 cup fine bulgur
1 cup boiling water
1 tbsp red pepper paste
1 tbsp tomato paste
3-4 medium tomatoes
Fresh parsley
Fresh mint
2-3 green onions
1/3 cup virgin olive oil
1 lemon juice
1 tbsp pomegranate sour
Chili pepper powder
Salt
1)
Put the bulgur in a large mixing bowl. Add
tomato and pepper paste to a big glass and add 1 cup boiled water. Mix well.
Add this to the bulgur. Cover the bowl with a lid or cloth. Set aside and let it soak
the water.

Fine chop your vegetables.

Drizzle olive oil, lemon juice, pomegranate sour
to your bulgur. Add salt & chili pepper powder depending on your taste preference. Mix it well with a spoon until it combines properly.
4)
Add your vegetables. Mix it and enjoy with a cup of Turkish tea.
